THE MOON (written by Tim Jones & Terri~B)

Just a stone's throw from the Sun,
Third in line and heaven sent,
Chosen for this gift of life,
All of this we sacrifice,
All we need is given here,
In this sacred golden sphere,
But we've lost the will to care,
For our mother planet fair.
And it's one small step for man, the Moon,
Maybe we will have to move there soon.

Here today, gone tomorrow,
All our fortunes lost in sorrow,
For there is no turning back,
Not much time to change our act,
Maybe we should educate,
Not just fill our selves with hate,
Maybe we should learn to care,
Learn to love this planet fare.

And it's one small step for man, the Moon,
Maybe we will have to move there soon.

We can see you Icarus,
Flying far too near the Sun,
Your father tried to teach you sense,
But now we sing your sad lament,
It's as if we've lost our minds,
Whilst the blind lead on the blind,
If only we would seek and find,
The answers that would save mankind.

And it's one small step for man, the Moon,
Maybe we will have to move there soon.
